Una scala appoggiata all'orizzonte

su di un mare di male e la follia
di chi dice che non puoi  camminare
su gradini scolpiti nel cielo.

La mia scala che immagino appoggiata all'orizzonte assomiglia  alla "Scala per la luna" di Georgia O'Keeffe (1958, New York, Collection Emily Fisher Landau), di cui ho visto tanti anni fa l'immagine in un libro e che non ho più dimenticato. 

My ladder leant against the sky looks quite like Georgia O'Keeffe's  "Ladder to the Moon" (1958, New York, Emily Fisher Landau Collection), whose picture I saw in a book many years ago and that I have never forgotten.
